Getting to school
- Parent Drop-Off
Parents can drop students off via the Anson Road entrance and car park, avoiding the designated bus stops at the front of the school. - Student Parking
Students who drive can park in the gravel car park at the rear of the school, accessible via John Street or Anson Road.
A parking permit must be obtained from Student Services before parking on school grounds. - Bus Services
There are many bus services that travel to and from NASHS.

Students riding a bike or scooter can leave them in either of the bike compounds located near the Woodwork rooms and at the rear of the school near the student car park. Students are not permitted to ride bikes or scooters through the school grounds, other than to and from the bike compounds at the beginning and end of the school day.

Knowing your Faction
NASHS has 4 factions. Students can dress up in their faction colours and support their team in our school run sporting events.
Our 4 teams, named after Albany Islands are listed below:
- Breaksea / Waarlitj = Yellow
- Eclipse / Kwilena = Blue
- Watari / Kwela = Green
- Michaelmas / Chillion = Red
Not sure which faction you belong to? Your faction will be listed next to your student profile in Compass or you can check the pin up board in the gym corridor or the PE store room door.
