Nominations for the School Board

The Board plays a vital role in enabling families and the wider community to engage in activities that support the best interests of our students, helping to enhance the quality of education delivered at our school.

In recent years, the School Board has successfully advocated to both state and local government for funding to develop new learning spaces. With continued growth and development at NASHS, we are excited to share that several significant projects are currently underway.

One of the major upcoming developments is the construction of a new building, which is planned to include:

· A general classroom block providing nine GLAs

· Incidental learning areas

· An IT laboratory

· Toilets and a collegiate space

There is also potential for refurbishment of the administration area to expand student service facilities, depending on available budget.

Plans for the school grounds also include additional undercover areas to further support student wellbeing and engagement.

We are now seeking dedicated individuals to join the School Board in the roles of Chair and Committee Members. We welcome parents, caregivers, and community members who are passionate about education and committed to supporting positive outcomes for young people. Skills in governance, project management, community relations, and youth engagement are highly valued as the Board helps guide the school’s strategic direction.
