Year 11 Earth & Environmental Science Field Trip

On September 26th the Year 11 Earth and Environmental Science ATAR class took a field trip to study the igneous rocks at Ledge Point, near Gull Rock.

The purpose of this field trip was to complete the difficult task of constructing a geological map of the outcrop, including mapping some very complex magmatic intrusions.

The students produced some outstanding work as a result of their commitment to the task and coped well with the inclement weather. Thanks to Jean for being our bus driver this year!
