In teams, students linked these sectors to show the circular flow of the economy.
Students were assessed on creativity and team work skills. These ‘soft skills’ are key skills necessary for many jobs. Team skills include; negotiation, communication, mediation, leadership, problem solving and listening.
LEGO is also a valuable kinaesthetic learning tool, which encourages the utilisation of both sides of the brain. These ‘hands on’ activities benefit all students but in particular those with learning difficulties.
