Clontarf held three different camps this term. The first was to Busselton for the year 12 Leadership camp which had a goal setting and employment theme. The next was to Esperance for the Southern Challenge Carnival which was for years 8 and 9. The carnival, included basketball and football. The last camp for the term was the Clontarf Cup which is held in Perth. This was for our senior boys, which included a football carnival plus an Employment Gala with some of Clontarf’s corporate partners.
We held induction days for each year group from year 7 to 11, and the year 12’s had a Leadership camp. The induction days consisted either of swimming and cricket at Middleton beach or Ten pin bowling and movie and dinner.
The focus behind these days was to remind or inform old and new members what Clontarf is about and our expectations for the year. We also introduced our Clontarf Culture board.
Other activities that our members participated in was morning games held before school on the oval, which was followed by a breakfast. The boys also joined in a few different after school activities like basketball, soccer and cooking.
